Start where you are.
Build your strength.

Strength training with Emma Kelly for women over 40, including beginners and those returning after a break. Get guidance, learn the movements and build confidence at your own pace.

You do not need to feel ready for the gym.

Feeling nervous, unsure about weights or worried about keeping up? Those are useful things to tell your coach, rather than reasons to put off asking for help.

Emma’s own major fitness change began at 51. As a Level 3 Personal Trainer, she helps you find a practical starting point and learn how to train with more confidence.

Questions before you start.

Am I too inexperienced?

Beginners and people returning after a break are welcome. Tell Emma about your experience so you can discuss a suitable starting point.

What if I am nervous about weights?

Start by learning the movements with guidance. There is no need to use the same weights as someone else.

Is the Gym version of Age Strong a group class?

No. You train independently in your own gym, using the programme in the app. For coaching with Emma beside you, choose in-person PT in Ashington.
